Pandora’s Dungeons: Chapter 1

Pandora Edited

“They gave Pandora a box. Prometheus begged her not to open it. She opened it. Every evil to which human flesh is heir came out of it.”
– Kurt Vonnegut

Long ago, the Great Cleric Pandora imprisoned five mighty demon princes in a box. Fearing they would one day be unleashed, she allowed herself to trapped inside with them. Over time, Pandora’s legend was forgotten. But now the box has been found.

Pandora’s Dungeons is a series of standalone adventures, each built around the forgotten lair of a powerful demon. This chapter presents a short introductory dungeon for Game Masters who wish to run the series as a full campaign.

    Hey!
So I tried being a DM for the first time with this story, and all my friends really loved it!
So I’m just wondering, when will the next chapter be released?
    Good work!

Thank you! And congrats on your first time DMing!

We have a couple of chapters in draft, just figuring out some other projects alongside them. We want them to be released too! It’s just not something we can put a firm deadline at this time, but hopefully soon.

Remember that we kept the number of demons unleashed from the box vague, so you can create your own if you’d like and mix them with our encounters as we publish them. The only real guideline we have is that these demons can possess other creatures or objects (and transform their stats along the way). You’re welcome to experiment!

There’s also the option of having side quests in-between the demon dungeons – have Pandora say “This way” and your players can stumble into other adventures during the journey. We have several published on our site and DTRPG if you’re looking for inspiration!
